Taking the idea of plastic suffocating the environment by encasing natural materials into darts of soft plastics. Applying this idea to a strip of plastic and using the natural material encased darts to create shaping, emulating a corset.

I pondered synthetic and iconoclastic.
The malignancy ever moulding,
The cloth never heralding.
The revered Plastic Fantastic.
Starting as an exercise in zero waste pattern-making and developing into a project about the fast pace life of humanity and their consumption of plastics. Necessitating convenience over preservation of our planet.
